Natural Lands Trust is delighted to continue long-running support of the annual Cumberland County Winter Eagle Festival on Saturday, February 6, 2016. We join a fine group of event sponsors in celebrating raptors of south Jersey, including Bald Eagles, falcons, harriers, hawks, owls, and more!
The Festival features activities for the whole family, including programs, speakers, exhibits, vendors, food, eagle watching, owl prowls, live raptors and more. Speakers, exhibits and vendor tables are setup at the Mauricetown Firehall.
Select raptor-viewing sites, including Natural Lands Trusts Glades Wildlife Refuge, will be staffed throughout the Festival, highlighting nesting Bald Eagles, hunting harriers and other wildlife thriving in Delaware Bayshore habitats of Cumberland County.
Natural Lands Trust staff will be hosting an informational table inside the Firehall, and guiding bird walks at Glades Wildlife Refuge and various sites throughout the festival.
