Join us for a reading and book signing of "American Adventurer" authored by Marianne Lods.
Take a journey with a young New Yorker who traveled as a tramp with his buddies, a seaman with his brother and was obsessed with becoming a Hollywood movie star. Our character, Jack, began his adventures as a teenage oy riding the rails and hitch-hiking throughout the Americas and exotic destinations.
Most of his weeks and months were worry free during the Great Depression that shaped the lives of these young men and prepared them to face the challenges they would soon encounter during World War II.
